Wedding

I love these new MME papers, so colourful. Some of the flowers and leaves were cut from the pattern on the paper and others were dry embossed and then cut. The die cut flourish is from Sizzix. This was my cousin's daughter on her wedding day, please excuse the wonky picture taking (of the layout not the wedding pictures)

Raspberry Suite Colour Challenge #15

The colour this time were Melon, Cream, Med.Pink and Moss. I wasn't completely happy with the first one, so had another go.

Good food, good friends, good times

Some piccies taken at the Warran Glen cafe for Christine's birthday lunch. Amazing how time flies when you are having fun, we arrived at 12pm and were still there at 3.45 chatting away. The food was fab and so much of it. I had a great time girls, lets not wait for a birthday to do it again.

Ingredients
Patterned paper - Ooh la la by MME
Large stamp in corner - Fancy Pants
Enjoy and background stamps on green cardstock - Stampin Up
Life is good stamp (on flower) - Collage Press

Weekend Offerings

These are two of the layouts I made at our scrapping weekend in Tootgaroot recently. The first one is my oldest daughter on a weekend escape in South Africa (whilst she was working out there in 2008). The paper is from the recent release by Kaiser craft - Offshore This next one was from way back in 2006, on a trip to Warrandyte. We managed to get up quite close to some beautiful Rainbow Lorikeets. This paper is from the Nature collection by Diecuts with a view.
I have more to show you but they are awaiting journalling. Hopefully soon, but I am notoriously bad at finishing them, once the creative process is over, I lose interest. And really the whole idea of scrapbooking is to record the details, isn't it. I must try harder, but don't hold your breath.

Happy Birthday Christine

It is my friend( stamp club) Christine's birthday today and this is the card I made for her. I got the idea and the details from Jackie's house of cards - linkhttp://jackiescards.blogspot.com/2009/08/tri-shutter-tutorial.html
Poor Christine had to work on her birthday, so I popped in with her card and some flowers and bumped into Claire. who had the same idea, except she brought choccies too. As she said if you have to work on your birthday, chocolate makes it more bearable. Next week all the stamp clubbers, with the exception of Judy who is up to her eyes in work and has to be in Canberra, are meeting for lunch. So we will have a proper celebration then.
